TransAtlantic Airlines, based in New York, is preparing N723 in Victorville for its first flight since landing at Victorville in 2001. Ship 723 is the first former Delta L1011 being reactivated for revenue service across the Atlantic from New York's JFK International Airport. Plans include operating the L1011, re-registered to TransAtlantic airlines, from JFK to destinations in West Africa and within Africa.

Does anybody know when this Airline Starts Service?

Found this shot on Jetphotos.

This was talked about a few times already. Nothing has been established as to whether or not this is going to happen.

Tristar is one of my favorite planes, flew it often with Eastern when I was a kid and it would be great to see one flying here again, but I'll believe this will happen when I get that $5 million wire transfer the Nigerian spammers promised me.
