SHANNON, Ireland -- An Aer Lingus flight from New York has been evacuated during a scheduled stop in Ireland.
An airport official in Shannon says a threat referring to explosives was made against the aircraft. He says the threat came to a police station in Dublin, where the flight was headed after the stop in Shannon.
No explosives were found during an initial search.
There were 239 passengers on Aer Lingus Flight 112.
