View Full Version : Continental gets 737-900ER's

Continental Airlines (CO/COA) announced today that they have converted an original order of 24 undisclosed NG 737's to a total of twelve 737-900ER's. This will make them the first operator of the type in North America. So far the other twelve NG 737's that were part of this order have not been specified as 737-700/800 or 900ER's as of yet.

Ooooh. That IS great news. Slim chance of them comin to LGA, but I'll pray.

yeah probably no chance, I would venture to bet any money that they put those birds directly on deep south america runs that 757's were being used for and just maybe IAH to HNL and such being all the NG 737's in Co's fleet are ETOPS

I can't see LGA getting the 900ER. The perimeter rule makes their intended purpose at LGA a waste.
