GDNY had a couple of guys on yesterday to demonstrate how easy it is to steal a bike. While one was using a saw to cut a bike chain, the other pretended to get his throat slashed by the saw, screamed and squirted ketchup on his neck. Here's what happened:

I don't think that she overreacted at all. Those people totally disrupted the integrity of her segment and the news.

integrity of the news? about 10 seconds after that all went down they went to a segment about trying to get a male reporter to take his shirt off and walk around the city without it on... she got scammed and was pissed... lol

I got a great kick out of that and that lady went up off the walls. If they want to talk about stupidity why are they broadcasting to the world how to steal a locked bike not that most of the world needs to see it on TV to know how but that is stupid in my own opinion. That lady was even more funny than the prank though for sure. (Where is George Carlin comic commentation on this when you need it)

The point of the piece wasn't to show how to steal a locked bike. They were doing it to show that despite using power tools, etc. to cut the lock, none of the passer-bys stopped to ask what they were doing or made any effort to call the police.
I think the stunt they pulled was juvenile.

Juvenile, yes
did the lady have a right to be pissed, yes
but considering the crap that Fox puts on its airwaves, esp. its 10PM news with Rosanna Scott, it wasnt far from the norm...seemed like a regular segment on the 10 PM Fox news.

I would think that a lady with a microphone and some guy holding a massive camera that has Fox plastered across it would be the first hint to the people that it is not your average bike jacking either way so if that is the point of the segment whoever came up with that idea is lacking the rocks upstairs as it is as far as I am concerned and yes it may be a bit juvinille but people can laugh at it.

hahaha, that was hilarious! Her reaction was awesome. Jodi Applegate is usually easy-going on the Fox morning show. Anyways, that was great, especially for live tv.
