I just left LGA, but before leaving, I noticed an EOS 757 taxiing to runway 31 for departure @ 9:18. Sure enough, it departed very early (possibly heading to JFK?) Nice to see this bird at LGA. If anyone can provide info on why it was here, where it was heading, and flight number, I appreciate it.

Has to be a charter of some kind. That's insane.

according to flytecomm there will be an EOS flight 9911 from Nassau to JFK later this afternoon. Could this be the return flight.

I would assume LGA-NAS was a Live Charter and NAS-JFK was the aircraft re-positioning (Ferry Flight) back to JFK. Several of my co-workers mentioned seeing Eos this morning to me when I came in at 1300. We can only hope whomever they took down to NAS will need to come back to LGA in a few days. I will do a little research and try and find out !

maybe a visiting sports team chartered it for a try?

Lot of these guys are big players and would apprciate the spacious interior and perhaps an EOS flight runs cheaper than a private charter?

Just speculating.

There was also a EOS 757 at EWR that came in from Stockholm earlier this morning around 330am i believe. How many 757's does EOS have now?

I'm currently trying to get it on A.net; I had it in the queue last week, but it was rejected for "color". I've sent the original to Phil to see if he could do some work on it. If all works well, I'll provide the link for a much larger version in the near future.

Michael, that shot is "Spectacular" Picture Post Card Perfect. I hope a.net is wise enough t accept it second time around, I am sure JP would be thrilled to have it, in fact, I am sure the folks at Eos Marketing would want to buy it, anyway thanks for sharing with us.

Cheers

Nice shot! Last I heard they have 2 planes and one was in service and one is a backup in case anything happens to any of the planes so I guess they want to make some money and charter it out to people.
Good idea on EOS's part, and how awesome would that be to charter one of those planes!!
