Not the most memorable departure in the history of commercial aviation but yesterday was Song's last day with their last flight being flight 2012 LAX-JFK on April 30th. We'll still see those green things flying for a bit but Song has sung its last song. How much you want to bet a year from now we'll be at LGA or JFK and someone will say "hey remembers Song?" LOL

Hey, some of us got a picture of it without going nuts to get one - it's all about being in the right place at the right time. :P

I actually got some nice early evening light shots of N610DL at LGA Monday night May 1st, she will probably be one of the last to get repainted I would think !

Cheers

From what I heard, you are correct Ron. 610 will be the last Song 757 painted into Deltaflot livery.

look at their message on their site (flysong.com) it acts like they were owned by different companies

"It's official. Song and Delta have joined forces. We've packed up our ideas about giving you great experiences—on the ground and in the air—and we've brought them with us to Delta. Together, we're working to combine the best of Song and Delta on more flights to all your favorite Song destinations, and the world. And from now on, you'll be able to get it all at delta.com. Join us."

I did enjoy the onflight trivia where you can play against others on the flight.

I don't know about everyone else...

...but I'm really going to miss Song. I found them to be very creative. And although most disliked their interior (vomit color, etc) I loved it! It was very different and exciting. jetBlue's interior is a bit boring, in my opinion. I also loved the paint scheme; the lime green was amazing! It would have been better if their aircraft were in different colors. That would've made spotting Song more interesting.

I'm going to miss Song; I hoped to one day work for them as well. Now I will look to Delta...
