Not the biggest of news, but it may be a first for JFK. Starting May 16th Delta will fly a 764 on the JFK-MCO route.
Delta 1527 2:40pm JFK 5:26pm MCO Boeing 767-400
Delta 1528 3:55pm MCO 6:27pm JFK Boeing 767-400
There will also be DL MD80's at JFK again with some 738's as well starting with the new summer exSong sched.
Cool Stuff!

Indeed, Great News.
I was anticipating Delta 767-400s showing up at JFK - glad to hear they're on the schedule.
just fyi -- unless I am mistaken, JFK probably saw its first 767-400 about a year or so ago, when CO had put one on 31L - emergency I think (or maybe it was weather related...)

Indeed, the DL MD-80s have been at JFK for some time. I have a picture of one as far back as last summer, and another picture of one from more recently. When I was at JFK last week, there was one sitting at Gate 1 around 8am.

Delta already brings a handful of MD80s to JFK...that's nothing new...
764s, however, will be pretty fun to see. I wonder how long they're going to stay on domestic runs down to Florida with Delta planning to reconfigure a bunch of '76s for international routes.

I think the MCO-JFK 764 turns MAN and the JFK-MCO is inbound from MAN, so at least two 764's a day at JFK. DL is still working on their May-June Schedules but when I looked in my Sabre computer at work today for LGA lots of the Comair stuff was missing, no 763's, 1 732 and LGA-NAS is showing an ASA CRJ-700. I will keep my eyes open and report anything interesting !

It's good to see it on a regular basis but the B767-400 has been to JFK before, a few years ago on a ATL sub flight. Good news, thanks for posting!
