According to this discussion topic on A.net:

http://www.airliners.net/discussions/ge ... n/2600562/ (http://www.airliners.net/discussions/general_aviation/read.main/2600562/)

KLM 641/642 will go from the 777-200 to a mix of 767-300s and A330-200s like EWR is currently getting.

KLM 657/658 will be taken over by Northwest for a period of time and will switch from 767-300s and A330-200s to A330-300s for the first two weeks of the switch and then the DC-10 for the rest of the switch.

The EWR change will start on Feb 16th and last until March 10th or longer. I am not sure about the JFK change but I assume it is along the same lines.

The major change in KLMs New York operations is due to one of their 747-400s (PH-BFN) being involved in a tug incident at AMS the other day and will need to go into MX for two months for repairs.

KLM will be changing the AMS-YYZ route from the 747-400 to the 777-200 which is why the 777-200 is being pulled off of KLM 641/642.

Also this coming Summer KLM will add an extra EWR flight with the 777-200.

KLM New York Summer schedule:

AMS 10:20 EWR 12:35 KL657 KL 08:15 1234567
AMS 13:30 JFK 15:25 KL641 KL 07:55 1234567
AMS 18:20 JFK 20:10 KL643 KL 07:50 1234567
AMS 19:30 EWR 21:20 KL659 KL 07:50 xxx4x67

Wouldn't mind FLYING in the NW DC-10 since they are quickly becoming a rarity!

It also looks like this summer KL 644/643 will be operated on some days by the 777-200.
