"The second Qantas Airbus 330-200 set a new world record for 'distance without landing.' It flew non-stop for 16,910 kilometres from Toulouse in France to Melbourne, Australia. The flight time was about 20 hours and four minutes."

Iwas reading this on the Qantas website. Does that newBoeing record now make the reference above obsolete?

On November 10, 2005 a 777-200LR set a record for the longest non-stop flight by passenger airliner by flying 11,664 nautical miles (13,422 statute miles, or 21,602 km) eastwards (the westerly Great circle route is only 5,994 miles) from Hong Kong to London, UK. The journey took about 22 hours and 42 minutes.

This is the new record they broke. Its definitely longer than the Airbus 332 one. Yeah so i guess that would make it obsolete.
