CNN is reporting that a Midwest 717 is having problems with its left main landing gear and will attempt a landing, nothing more then that right now.

What's the weather like up there? I hope it's not slick.

I'm surprised to see this from a new aircraft, but I guess it can happen to any.

Touched down, it was right landing gear door that was left open.

Great job Pilots and crew.

That's happened a few times before on the 717, TWA had two incidents of the main door gear not closing. Atleast it wasn't a serious problem and everyone was safe.

from what i saw on the video it looked like either a tire was flat or door gear didn't close. was dark, couldn't see.

Ironically it was Midwest's newest aircraft, ship 924, only 2 months old.
