this is getting ridiculous. on another fun not, jetblue and westjet, while not in CH11 did post losses in the past quarter. is the trend starting anew?

As for Braniff, my understanding was they were by some measure the most profitable airline at the time before US deregulation and ironically the first(?) to fall after.
