After the EWR convention, Futterman, Josh, Mike, Andy Martin, Eric and I went to do some spotting at EWR.
I had never gone there before. Security is so tight and annoying and the airport is far from me so it's just something I never explored. I'm not even sure what runway we were at (can you guys confirm?)
The sun was VERY harsh. I was actually underexposing a full 1, when during the day, I usually do -.5, or in really harsh conditions, the rare -.66.
I threw on my polarizer. The disadvantage being that it slows down my shutter speed. So a lot of my shots were 1/125, or 1/250 if I was lucky. It did cause a few blurred shots, but I was pleased.
One dumb thing I did was to stack the polarizer on top of the UV filter. With both on there, if I got any glare, it would reflect funny in the photo as though I was watching through a double-pane window.
