View Full Version : Eye Patch

07-12-2005, 11:35 PM
I had some eye trouble over the weekend, might have been a light case of pink eye, but I actually wore an eye patch for a day.

But I don't like the patches that you find in pharmacies that cover your eye socket. I want one just like Chuck Heston had in True Lies that only covers your eye itself, so I can still have full use of my eyebrow.

Anyone know where I can get one? I couldn't find it online anywhere.

phil, you never cease to amaze...

Yeah, I'm with you on that one. First he shaves his head, now he wants to wear an eye patch (and not just any old eye patch, mind you). What's next....Phil decides to grow D-cup breasts or something??? :)

07-13-2005, 01:51 PM
Yes, Phil, but when you are wearing the eye patch, are you going to talk like a pirate?

07-13-2005, 02:21 PM
Josh willbe the first guy to walk the plank! lol

If I'm gonna wear an eye patch, I might as well do it with style, right?

I'm growing my hair back already. It's not at this in-between length that looks disgusting. Don't worry, I'll live somehow. lol

i could just see myself covering for someone in ops and talking to crews like that. i'd have a riot, at least for a little while before i got arrested/ fired. hey ron, you ought to try it on ramp control one day...

I cheated on Mirrodie and went to a differ net eye doctor.

I have blepharal conjunctivitis, an infection in my eye lid.

Mario, be a nerd and explain it in depth, huh? lol

I can't have my contact lens in my right eye for at least a week while I fight this off with the assistance of prescribed eye drops.

Technically, I can get away with photography, because the image that my camera sees brings the image close, and my uncorrected vision in my right eye is pretty good with closeup stuff. It also does not become unbalanced in terms of focusing because when I shoot, my left eye is closed.

However, photo editing cannot happen as I've already tried and I can't have both eyes focus properly at the same time right now. I'll have to wait until I have two lenses in my eyes.

Not that you care. lol. Pardon my rant.

My eye is healing up great, here's a picture of my progress as of this morning.

lovely phil... just lovely.

07-19-2005, 07:28 PM
lovely image buddy.

you have blepharoconjunctivitis. I wont go into detail how its gotten, but usually has to do with a word that closely rhymes with "plaster bait". ;)

Phil, dont you have a pair of backup glasses? I told you, come by and my gals would take great care of you. Lets schedule a day that you can get checked and then chill out at the house with us. The Yuen Ling is on you.

07-19-2005, 09:30 PM
Nah, no glasses. Last time I had the chance to do that was at your office a year ago. I rememebr I was being overly picky about how the frames fit because of my narrow mind....I mean skinny head.

I definitely wanna get out there and do the glasses thing. It would be good tojsut have some frames as a backup or for when I take my lenses out at night.

07-20-2005, 08:05 AM
stop being picky and let the gals take care of you. I dont chose my eyeglasses anymore. I tell one of the gals in my staff to pick 3 frames out and then I face the tough choice.

usually though, the gals do a great job of choosing something that will enhance your image.

what drops are you on? vigamox? zymar?

Why is the picture with Mad Russian so appropriate with the pug next to him?
