The order announcement came at the annual European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition in Geneva and includes a mix of 12 ultra-long-range Bombardier Global and Challenger jets, and six Bombardier Learjet 60 Next Generation aircraft. Deliveries will commence in 2012, with the Swiss charter operator’s fleet size growing to 50 aircraft when deliveries are completed.

“Currently, 75% of our flights either originate in or go to the world’s fast-growth markets and fly sectors of between five to eight hours duration,” said VistaJet founder and CEO, Thomas Flohr in a statement. “To service rapidly growing demand, from some of the world‟s leading business and corporate players, we are building one of the world‟s largest fleets of state-of-the-art long-range aircraft.”
