An Allegiant Air McDonnell Douglas MD-83 airliner made an emergency landing at Paine Field in Everett, Wash. on Monday. No one was injured.
The plane, which had just taken off from Bellingham, Wash. enroute to San Diego, reportedly suffered an engine malfunction, causing a warning light to go off in the cockpit.
All 160 people onboard were unharmed, and later were bussed back to Bellingham to board another plane. Paine Field would not have been able to accomodate another plane due to its lack of security screening, according to a Seattle Times report.
