The National Transportation Safety Board has issued a preliminary report into the P-51 Mustang crash at the Reno Air Races on Sept. 16th which left 11 people dead and 74 injured.
Police on Saturday said a total of nine people were killed on Friday when a World War II aircraft crashed during the Reno Air Races at Reno-Stead Airport in Nevada. Sixty-nine others have been injured.
As many as 12 people were killed and 75 injured Friday afternoon when a plane taking part in the Reno Air Races crashed into a spectator seating area, according to preliminary reports.
