A small fire broke out in the cockpit of a United Airlines flight to Los Angeles about 30 minutes after taking of from New York JFK Sunday evening, forcing the Boeing 757 to make an emergency landing at Washington Dulles.

Korean Air to Add 777-300ER to Seoul-LAX

On October 25, Korean Air will begin operating a 777-300ER thrice-weekly between Seoul, Korea and Los Angeles (LAX). Flights KE11/12 will be the route used for the aircraft, as opposed to the previously intended Seoul-JFK route as KE85/86, which is currently operating a 747-400.

V Australia to Order 777-200LRs for JFK, LHR Flights

V Australia is said to be coming up on announcing a big aircraft order, among them 777-200LRs which would allow them nonstop service from Sydney to JFK and also Perth to London Heathrow (LHR).

Virgin America Re-Announces Orlando Service from LAX and SFO
