Virgin Atlantic Airbus Jet Makes Emergency Landing in London After Fire Scare

A Virgin Atlantic Airbus A330-300 made an emergency landing at London’s Gatwick Airport on Monday and evacuated all 299 passengers and 13 crew onto the runway via emergency slides. Four people were injured during the evacuation.

American Airlines Flight Diverts to Military Base Due to Fire Alarm

American Airlines flight 175, a Boeing 777-200, departed Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in Texas on Sunday morning, scheduled to land at Narita International Airport later on Monday until it was diverted to Eareckson Air Station in Alaska due to a fire alarm that went off onboard.
