On This Day in Aviation History: September 9th

In 1970, a BOAC VC-10 is hijacked and flown to Jordan, joining 4 other hijacked aircraft; Orville Wright makes a 1-hour flight in 1908; Two Tupolev aircraft collide in 1994 and an Allegheny DC-9 collides with a Piper over Fairland Indiana in 1969.
