Batik Air, a soon-to-be launched full-service airline owned by Indonesia’s Lion Air, on Friday announced that it would buy five Boeing 787 Dreamliners worth just under $1 billion at list prices.
The tail pattern on the Batik Air livery is styled after a traditional Indonesian cloth, known as a batik.
