    The best information we have as of now is that this was cancelled yesterday afternoon. It may happen next week.

    Yeah, that looks to be the case.

    Here's the latest from the NYC Go Twitter feed operated by the city, posted at 11:21 am (EDT) today (22-April-2020):

    @nycgo
    We have removed the tweet about the rumored joint @BlueAngels @AFThunderbirds air demo after the Blue Angels told us there is no flyover scheduled for the area today.

    Yes, I heard from one of the T-birds a while ago that there’s nothing finalized yet. Ok to delete this thread if a mod wants to do so.

    They now confirmed Tuesday at noon for NYC area flyover. Someone posted a video on FB of 3 jets flying over long beach. Looked to possibly be one of the teams in formation. Anyone know if they are basing out of an area airport? Doubt they would be out of Republic. Seeing that they are going from NY to Philly within 2 hours imagine they would need to refuel right?

    Looks like they might be using Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in NJ for the flyovers tomorrow on 4/28.
