    JFK - 1/1/2018 (F-15s)

Wow ... did the New Year start off right. Was able to catch the F-15s that were here for the Citifield Winter hockey classic. It was nice to see a few other spotters out given the frigid and sub-freezing temperatures at HoBe. All were confined to their cars (including me). Happy New Year and all the best in 2018.

Nice shots Mark and what a way to start off 2018.
It definitely was not an easy shoot we had today. I loved the cold but hated the sun. I am glad to get another military Special unto the collection. As always it was nice chatting with you and Eric.
The x4 F-15 operated under the call sign "EAGLE ONE ONE"The four S/N were"

Awesome set to begin 2018! Wish I could have been there guys. There are fighters and then there are air superiority fighters! 15s are just so bada**.
The 2 rampers sure had fantastic views and awesome sound of them departing with full AB engaged.

I know what you mean about the F-15. Even with in the F-15 Family I have always said there are F-15 and the there is the F-15E! The "E" model is just awesome- even more so with a full payload.
