    Breitling DC-3 KTEB pics

    Greetings,
I made it out to TEB to get some shots of Breitling DC-3. Its hardly worth mentioning let alone going out for but I guess its something to break a few long quiet spell we have had locally.

Nice shots catching the Breitling DC-3 at KTEB on it's World Tour, Senga !
BTW, I got notification it was doing a Hudson flyover today at either 7AM or 6PM
from the GW Bridge down to the VZ Bridge and circling the Statue of Liberty also.

    Thanks,
Too bad it didn't visit FRG or HPN instead. It is nice to get another non "war bird" DC-3 shot.

I brought a DC3 freighter into TEB in 91 one fine night when EWR was below minimums and TEB was hanging in there at 300/1, my only time visiting Teterboro in the Douglas, I landed a DC9 there a while back, a series 30 during my brief sojourn with USAJet, and I'm there monthly now ( usually ) in the mighty Citation XL/S , I used to ride my bike there when I was a kid growing up in north Jersey.
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

Great pictures. Anytime an old gal is flying it's worth going to see. When I'm out by Republic I never get tired of seeing the Warbirds flying. One day they don't be.

Nice job - I got the Flightaware tracking notifications, but for some reason, only the segment local to TEB tracked, and not while it was going up and down the Hudson. I was still at home anyway during the flights so I wouldn't have been able to see it. It departed this morning and dropped off tracking over Quebec. It's done with North America and is headed for a crossing over the next couple of days.

Ryan Field from Eyewitness News was able to take media ride on the Breitling DC-3.

Its seems the tour was supposed to take it to DC as well. I am not sure why that did not happen.
