Catch of the year at KBOS (So Far) 2017

"Ethiopian 500 heavy" 787-860 reg. AT-AOQ diverted to Logan en route form their normal stop in Dublin to Dulles, luckily he was on the ground long enough for me to get through the Boston traffic to get to the airport:

Hopefully more interesting things in 2017 to come,

Addis is at 7600' elevation and a 7200mi westbound leg from there is a big ask. The IAD-ADD eastbound leg operates non-stop. The YYZ flight also goes non-stop eastbound. The EWR flight stops in Lome, Togo, but that's largely for commercial rather than performance reasons.

Never thought I was going to make it, thank god he left the gate a little later than planned!
