    JFK - 1/15/2017 (Kalitta Santiago)

It was nice to see a bunch of spotters out today (Jose, AJ, Sergio, Don) on a crystal clear day with minimal heat distortion. Finally was able to catch the Kalitta Santiago special. Here are a few from today's haul.

    Running very late

I guess it's an American classic now

Great shots Mark- Good seeing you. Some of us went to Hobe for departures after Cosco. Was one of those days where arrivals, departures and weather were all exceptional.

Awesome! Nice mix of birds. Although that new CX livery is a real snoozefest

It's great to watch my 747 alma mater, K4, thriving !!!
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

Its Cherry season from Chile till approximately the end of late January. Most of the cherries you have here in the US during winter are from South America. Its big business here, the Cherries are also exported to China
