    AvGeek Christmas List

Whether you celebrate Christmas, a different gift-giving holiday, or just have a fantasy list of aviation things you may want, what's on your list?

I'm still on the hunt for the old 400-scale Bush Cheney campaign plane model, since it is the only North American Airlines model I don't have.

Top of my list has to be a jet warbird... but more realistically I've had my eye on a 1/200th model of the ANA Star Wars BB-8 special 777-300ER model to match the 1/200th R2-D2 special my girlfriend picked up a few months ago.

I already have the 15/70 Astro Binos that make even spotting liveries from contrails in the high 30's easy, and apps like FLIGHT AWARE , that I couldn't even conceive of in the 1970's when as a kid in Jersey I would actually spot EAL L-1011's flying the Turnpike Visual into LGA with a telescope, along with EWR and JFK arrivals. I would like for Christmas to fly the 747-8, I'm typed in the Classic, and the 400, and have a deep and abiding love for that airframe, oh yes I want to fly the Hawker Hurricane, preferably a MKIIc, BUON NATALE !!! Thank you : )
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

First class tickets on the Middle East Three (EK, EY, QR). And can I reserve a round the world business class ticket on SQ's EWR-SIN, SIN-FRA-JFK route when the EWR-SIN sector is resumed?

The return of supersonic travel. You can't place a price on time
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

I second that emotion! Would be good for a catch up with Mr Derner in the wild and rainy west!

My fiancé's family got me this artsy biplane made out of what appears to be metal or tin, it's got like a 2-foot wingspan. Reminds me of a Tiger Moth. It's pretty neat, tag said it was from Pier 1. Just need a place to put it
