Taipei (TSA/TPE)

Recently had a work trip to Taiwan and was able to free up some time to get some spotting in at the right times of day (I seem to always wind up going to cool places, then getting terrible luck with spotting). Anyways, Taiwan didn't disappoint, netting me three particularly solid outings PLUS a 7.2 earthquake (it was surprisingly loud).

First up, TSA, the domestic and near-international airport just outside Taipei city center. It's got several really nice locations and a very nice spotting deck (where I happened to get that earthquake in):

















Then there's TPE (Taipei-Taoyuan), which is maybe 40min outside the city. Spotting locations can also be quite nice, but much harder to navigate around without a car or scooter. Still doable, if you build in some time:
