New England review June 2016 few new carriers & Military (Image heavy)

Hey Guys, A review of recent happenings at my usual haunts:

Has to the be the long days of summer to catch EL AL at Logan arrives 5:30 am

    Three American's three builders

Latest newest carrier at Logan: Eurowings flying from Cologne, Germany to Boston

This is an incredible story, this is the commanders plane of the 509th Bomb Wing, from Whiteman AFB. Brigadier General Paul W. Tibbets IV on board. His Grandfather was the pilot of the Boeing B-29 "Enola Gay" which dropped the Atomic bomb on Hiroshima,Japan.

A visitor to Pease ANG Base Portsmouth NH

Another rare visitor to Pease ANG base, This is the second reg. Both of the C-17's they own have stopped overnight for crew rest

Been waiting to catch this for a while, Condor runs summer seasonal service to Providence, RI and on the second day of service this year they sent the Retro in. All last summer they never ran it once, to say the least I was thrilled to catch it!

A pair of "Super Hornets" ready to depart Hanscom Field back to NAS Oceana, VA

Another new carrier for Boston, from Manchester, England twice a week

After 30 years TAP returned to BOS this summer, flying daily from Lisbon, Portugal

JAPAN has upgraded to the 789 on the BOS flight, seen here arriving runway 4R

Norwegian arriving over the bad moon rising

    A better view of Eurowings

I assume you have an extra flight from Aer Lingus with a 757 like last year at JFK, so Boston has a leased Omni 762 bird that at least this year they added some paint to it

    Wheels up for Heathrow

Nice set Rich! Looks like some mighty fine new additions to Logan. I hope to make it up there in the near future for some spotting. It's all butter!!!

BOS is one of my favorite layovers, the LH 748, and the JAL 787, along with the latest Irish are always welcome sights : )
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!
