    NYC Heliport Spotting?

    Hello All,

I'm making a quick trip up to New York next week, I'd like to do a little spotting at Manhattan's heliports (and the seaplane base). Can I get some tips for the best times of day and the best locations for each heliport?

From what I can tell online, the busiest heliport is the Downtown Manhattan Wall Street heliport. What are the best times of day for photography and catching the most movements here?

I haven't been able to find much information about the East 34th St or the West 30th St locations. Are there any good spots to take pictures at these locations?

Also, how busy is the Skyports seaplane base this time of year? Would I be likely to catch more than one or two movements on a weekday afternoon?

Thanks in advance for the help! Any other tips would be appreciated.

Hope you had fun!! East 34St is the best place to get UP CLOSE to the action and in the afternoon the sun is pretty much behind you so you can great shots!!
