    London-Heathrow 21-07-2015

So, let us continue with a full day of photography at Heathrow. In total I captured about 182 aircraft. Here's a small selection of the day.

My day started at about 6.00 in the morning with a look out of the window of my hotelroom.

    1. American Airlines B777-300ER N724AN arriving in the morning sun. I spotted many American Airlines' birds; 3x A330-300, 5x B777-300ER and 4x B777-200ER.

    2. Air Canada is also an airline which can be spotted often throughout the day. Here's B777-300ER C-FITU on approach for runway 27R:

    3. Heathrow is also an airport with lots of A380-activity. Next to, ofcourse, BA, Emirates, Etihad, Qatar, Thai, Malaysia and Qantas all operate the aircraft into LHR. Here's VH-OQJ:

After breakfast, I moved over to the Hatton Cross pedestrian footbridge, where I just missed the Thai A380... Bummer.

    4. Definitely one of the best looking aircraft in American Airlines' livery is the A330-300, like this N275AY:

    5. Another nice A330-300, Virgin Atlantic G-VRAY:

    6. Catch 'm while you can; the A320's of Virgin are on their way out. Here's EI-EZV on finals for runway 27L:

    7. Not the best shot ever, but still very cool livery on this Etihad A380 A6-APA:

As the sun was getting in the way, I moved over to Myrtle Avenue to continue spotting. Arriving there, my small lense died. Not good! So some of the widebodies were photographed in a not so good position... But, I think I managed to make the most of it!

    8. Heathrow is also the place to be for Dreamliners. Here's B787-8 N29606 of United arriving:

    9. Air India came with this Star Alliance-livery B787-8 VT-ANU:

    10. The B787-9 is definitely more sexy than the -8. The Virgin-colors help too!

    11. Turkish Airlines made sure I catched my first B777-300ER of the airline...

    12. Rather crappy shot of this overflying AW-139, but I don't have that many Dubai Air Wing-aircraft. This is the DU-142:

    13. Regular liveried B787-8 VT-ANB of Air India:

    14. MEA A320 with rather exotic registration T7-MRB:

    15. Also nice to catch Transaero B737-800 EI-RUB:

    16. VQ-BCU is my first photographed A330-300 of Aeroflot:

    17. I hope Etihad will repaint some of their A340-600s into the new livery, but I think not...

    18. Qatar WhaleJet A7-APA:

    19. Only 5 days old was this Air Algerie B737-800 7T-VKK:

At 15.00 the runway changes and 27R became the main landing runway. So, time to move back to the hotelroom...

    20. My first Kuwait B777-200ER arriving:

    21. Latin American delight; Avianca A330-200 N969AV:

    22. More Latin-fun; Aeromexico B787-8 N961AM:

    23. Another Dreamliner; B787-8 JY-BAA of Royal Jordanian:

    24. And yet another! China Southern B-2737:

    25. A Dreamliner was scheduled, but this B777-200LR showed up! ET-ANN of Ethiopian on finals for 27R:

    26. Two Jet Airways B777-300ERs could also be photographed, like this VT-JEM:

    27. Just gorgeous!!

Impressive set Anton! I know at some point I'll make it out to LHR, and I can only dream of capturing that many jets in a day!
