In addition to fireworks and airliners, I was fortunate to shoot some sports photography towards the end of June. The evening of the 20th saw me heading down to Yankee Stadium for an Old Timers Day showdown with the Tigers and the sports shooting debut of my 150-600S.

The 150-600S proved to have an excellent focal length (if not aperture) for baseball, despite it being a night game with a nice thick overcast layer and a constant mix of rain, mist, and humidity to screw things up.

Also, please pardon the heavy Tigers bias of photos. For whatever reason I seemed to have more keepers from the Tigs than the Yanks.
