    JFK - 6/6/2015

After waiting over three months to get my Sigma 150-600mm for my Nikon, I was finally able to give it a test drive today. The lens is built solid, and weights much more than I expected. So far I'm pretty content with the preliminary results. I mounted the Sigma on my D7200. Here are the results.

Worth the waiting. The only thing I need to get use to is zooming counter clockwise as opposed to clockwise which is how my Nikon lenses zoom out. Also, will need the monopod ... Too heavy to keep around the neck or shoulder all day too.

Glad to see you joined the 150-600 club Mark! Those shots represent a heck of a first day, and I can only imagine how much they'll improve going forward.

Shots are fantastic Mark! I hear this is a decently sharp lens, I'm sure it renders more sharply at 500mm than my 150-500mm, then you have that extra 100mm
