    American Airlines AstroJet Boeing 737-800

This is a rare catch of the American Airlines Astojet Boeing 737 at Fort Lauderdale International Airport.
This special livery commemorated American Airline’s 50th next generation Boeing 737. The Astrojet livery was seen on American’s first Boeing 727s in 1964.
    Thanks for watching and enjoy!

I hate to tell you but the AA Astrojet retro is as rare as Obama coverage on FOX News!

    Nice video though

Maybe I'm missing something here, but a "Rare Catch" would be an unusual video of the actual Astrojet. Even that could be debated since the AstroJet 738 has been captured many times over the last several years. I don't think this is the place for SIM videos. If so, the thread title should at least state "SIM".

Thanks for the feedback...it was rare to me since I had never witnessed the Astrojet look on a AA plane. Can you explain a SIM video?...kinda new here

SIM short for Simulated. Created completely with computer graphics, versus video of a real plane. Still very cool to watch, but not real.

I love flight sims but for the record it's a real video...however I might need a better camera with a better zoom feature. Normally they are taking off from the opposite direction at this viewing area. Thanks

Wow, My bad. I looked at it quickly on my iPad. Very clean video and grass/environment is perfect in every way as in a SIM. lol- I stand corrected!

Haha, it did look quite perfect! Though not too rare, a great video!

Thanks! It's the new runway they opened at Fort Lauderdale about 8 months ago so all the landscaping is fresh and clean cut.
