Royal Air Maroc B788 KJFK Pics

    Greetings,
I noticed no one has uploaded any shots of this JFK newbie so I guess I will. I went out for the inaugural flight but my battery died on me just as the plane flew but and I had no time to change to a new one. Today's arrival wasn't ad nice as yesterdays but I am glad I got it with he 50/50 clouds/sun thing going on.
This is a very nice looking B788.

Dead battery syndrome! You must have been so pi**ed. Always carry a spare especially in winter. Nice captures Senga

    Thanks,

Megatop, Yes I was quite pissed. it would have been worse. Imagine if ti was a rare catch. Luckily that is the first time a battery caused me to miss a shot. It actually wasn't dead but the cold got to it and it it went briefly went dormant. By taking out the battery and putting it back in fixed the problem. 90% to 0% then back up to 90%. I usually keep warm air blowing on the batteries while I wait for the plane. I do believe this particular battery is failing.

I had a hell of a busy week, was only able to get to editing yesterday and today. Was good to meet you out there, Senga...even if it was a freezing 4 minutes. Again, light was so-so, but gotta do what ya gotta do.

And, yes, she is a beauty.

    Chris,
And a fun 4 minutes it was :) Yes it was nice seeing you again as well. Those clouds were definitely a pain I think we ended up with about 90 percent sun on the plane after going through sun/clouds/sun/clouds. I think the RAM 787 is one of the better looking ones out now and am glad they did not get a new livery when they got the new planes.
