    Red Flag, 15-1

On 3 February, Mr. Steve Furst and myself attended Red Flag 15-1. Here are some of my favorite shots. Enjoy!

I'm not quite sure if "epic" covers it, so we'll just go with that! Awesome shots of one of my bucket list aerial events.

Epic is a good word to describe it. It was way better than any airshow that I have ever attended. Even when I was in the Air Force, I never got to experience departures and arrivals so close.

I've been that close for A-10s, but never a fast mover in full blower... I can only imagine the feeling of having one go by that close.

How did you get access to shoot from the side of the runway? Is it a public thing during Red Flag/Green Flag or did you set something up in advance as media/veteran status?

I just cannot stop staring at that first Eagle Aggressor shot. It is THE perfect shot. Very, very well done Tim, I am quite jealous. As a kid my walls were covered by F-15 posters, but had I had this as a poster it would have taken front and center.
