    SeaTac 1/12/15

Wound up with an opportunity to shoot a new spot at SeaTac for an hour or so as part of an ongoing photo project for a client. It was a slow, foggy start...but man did it pick up nicely.

First time I've seen or otherwise heard of AA 321s out here, a very nice surprise:

And the final touch, the very last passenger MD11 takes off for Mojave after spending a day in Seattle. No idea why it came, but boy was I happy to see it.

Awesome shots! btw, that American A321 is actually a US A321 in disguise.

Speechless. Hawaiian trailing vaps and the dash getting outta town are stunning. love the md11 too of course. I can almost picture myself there... Wow! Terrific set

Great condensation shots and the lighting on the AA 57 is really cool, very nice set. Also great catch of the last KLM MD-11 flight.

As noted above, that's a US A321 that was delivered in new AA colors, so it is operating US routes - I flew one from CLT when I visited a couple of months ago.

Just to nitpick a little; ship 193 was delivered to US back in 2008, it was re-painted at GUS in August 2014.
Ship 579 was the first US A321 delivered in the new paint back in May 2014.
There's currently about 35 US A321s painted in the new American colors so far, leaving about 70+ in the now old colors.

You're right - I misread the registration, thought it was one of the new 9xx numbers.

Anything with CFM engines was an ex-US painted bird. All the AA painted birds delivered to US have IAE engines.

    Great shots!

Nice set and even though the conditions were far from perfect it sure did pay off! Well done.
