    The impact of JetBlue Mint?

    http://jbh.kinja.com/jetblue-mint-cl...43464/+Kyosuke

If the same fare runs about $1200 for business on AA for the same route, what impact could this have on other transcend business fares?
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

You would think AA and Delta and others offerign this service would immediately go out of business. But, given the loyalty and lack of capacity (from jetBlue) I think they will continue to sell (the expensive ones) ... I think most consumers of the first class/business class seats are corporate types which are not paying out of pocket.

Corporate contracts. AA has a bunch on JFK-LAX, as does UA and to a lesser extent DL.

And, as was stated in today's analyst briefing, apparently B6 is benefitting from corporate contracts for Mint seats now too. They say they did not anticipate picking up corporate contracts for Mint, but some biz fliers were demanding it.
