    Warbirds Over Monroe 2014

The annual Warbirds Over Monroe airshow is this weekend. They have a decent variety of warbirds and aerobatic performers, although the lineup hasn't changed much in the three years I've been at the show. The light is fair at best, but does get better later in the day, and we weren't helped by high clouds either.

Army Aviation Heritage Foundation Cobra makes a pass.

    Scott "Scooter" Yoak" and Quicksilver

Yoak and Jim Tobul in the Corsair teamed up for the "Class of 1945" formation.

I did not learn to fly at Bob's Discount Flying School! I did, however, graduate from Captain Young's School of Easy Flying.

    The "Tora, Tora, Tora" performance.

    Things go boom!

I went back out to the show on Sunday. It was a little warmer, and we had more sun, especially in the afternoon. Another great performance by all involved!

The MiG-15 made several passes before departing.
