Afternoon has had Kazakhstan 332, Belarus 763, VP-BEX 319 opf Sierra Leone, Ukraine 319, Kuwait 739.

HPN has Mali and an Italy F900.

[EDIT: Forgot the Malaysia 319 at HPN. Czech 319 arrived JFK around 1915. Saw an Italy 319 over Maine. If it was JFK-bound, ETA in the 2000 hour.]

2042: Mexico 757 over Louisiana; ETA around midnight, I'd guess? They sometimes go to Newark, so keep an eye once it gets further north.

What? No more TU-154 for Belarus! I'm probably going to be at JFK tomorrow so hopefully I get more Russian metal in the form of a Slovak Tu-154 or Gambia IL-62!

Yes. Chartered AAL flights within the US between Andrews AFB, JFK, PHL and outbound back to Rome. Alitalia was only inbound into the US.

If you think about it, the pope used to fly TWA, and since AAL consumed TWA, I guess the pope is still flying the same airline when in the US

Man what is UP with this runway configuration-4R/13R arrivals and 13L departures??? I never thought I'd say it but...show us a little 13L/22L love, JFK tower!

And will somebody please tell these pilots to turn BEFORE getting to us, these belly shots are not cool at all

I'm actually surprised Belarus sent the TU154 last year instead of the 767. Gambia IL62 has come back to back years but a Gambian airliner hadn't been seen at the UNGA previously for 10 years. The Slovak TU154 has been a regular for a few years though and could still come in. The Lybian in that ugly Al Qaeda Air scheme (beautiful previously as Afriqiyah A340) might not come given the situation in Lybia. One that will never come again is the Yemenia 747SP, sadly destroyed in the Yemen infighting.

Tomorrow is going to be a good day I think. Still several more to show up.

Where were you shooting from for 13R? I actually like the 13R.]
It's hard to take chances but sometimes it's better if you do

HZ-MF2 is over Newfoundland, presumably also headed to JFK.

New at HPN from yesterday are the Panama Legacy, the Greece GV, and both France Falcon 7s. Nothing at JFK that hasn't been reported yet. Stewart is loaded. Turkey G-IV, Gabon 772, Italy 319, Honduras Legacy, Global P4-PIF, Falcon HB-JSL all in addition to those previously reported. Colombia 734 and UAE 788 were not seen among those assumed present.

Today was a challenge for spotters I would say ... Between the runway configuration for arrivals, departing flights, and the parade in Howard Beach caused a traffic nightmare. Thank goodness the UN traffic was slow.

Air Force One on short final for 13R
