GSM Spotting in Grand Cayman 7-18-14 Image Heavy

GCM- Owen Roberts Intl. Airport, Grand Cayman‎ offers some great spotting locations (as long as you love Cayman Airways). In fact, you could probably catch their entire fleet of four 737s and two DHC-6-300 Twin Otters in about a day at the field. There were a few other carriers from the states that made appearances and a daily heavy Speedbird (which I only saw from my hotel in the afternoons).

So, being the fan that I am of the "Sir Turtle" livery, I'll apologize in advance for any CAY redundancy in this set-

VEry nice Don... the only spotting I got to do was from a distance. Saw the BA 777 from the boat coming back from Stingray City. And if anyone wants to spot from the terminal at the airport, remember it is open ONLY from outside the terminal. Go figure. It is elevated and obstruction free. full view of the ramp!

Great set - I love to see images from places not so regularly covered, and especially love the Caribbean. The Cayman Airways shots are superb - I have a real passion for the Twin Otter having spent so much time flying on the aircraft during my trips to St Maarten. The Cayman version is stunning
    Thanks for sharing

    Cheers

Great set! I'd love to see so many Sir Turtles flying around.

    The last sign is great:
"The Danger Zone!!!" (Sorry, I couldn't help myself!)

Thanks Manny. Wish I had known about that observation area. I believe it would have been back lit up until noon, but probably a great spot for taxiing traffic at any hour. Well, there's always next time.
