Would anyone happen to know the Point of Contact for the event?

I'm wondering if they've requested military static displays for the event through the US Aerial Events Support request form. Sequester put a "kabash" on this last year, but since then the rules have been relaxed somewhat and they may be able to get approval to solicit static displays. If so, I'd like to try and get a KC-10 in there again.

The feedback from the last Kids Day with a KC-10 was very positive.

    Thanks!

Can't wait. Best day of the year. Wish the KC-10 would return since the Sequester has been eased. Hope the Geico Skytypers will return after last years' absence. Misplaced my poster they gave.

I hear WRI's fleet is all deployed and therefore they have nothing to share :(

Oh Charlotte, Stop Jumping at the planes!
Probably the youngest spotter ever to walk up the face of the mounds.

FYI - The Geico Skytypers are already scheduled to be down at the Oceana Air Show that weekend.

False - but probably too late in the game to get the ball rolling...

FYI - Found this flyer about the LGA Kids Day posted online also, but I doubt there will be any military aircraft this year. I'm sure there will be more info posted here soon about what aircraft we can expect to see and it will be a fun day at LGA as usual !

Just confirmed with the Port Authority - I'll be flying an R44 helicopter in for tomorrow. I originally planned on bringing an AS350, but the company's aircraft are all contracted for 135 charters tomorrow. See you all tomorrow, it should be a really fun day!

Some expected/confirmed aircraft for Kids Day 2014. Sadly all Military aircraft have had to back out. Combination of needs for official duties and the unfortunate timing of the Huge Oceania airshow in the Norfolk, Virginia Beach area being held the same day. Runway 4-22 will be closed and based on the forecasted winds LGA should be up down 13 with approaches using the extremely cool ILS 22 circle to land 13 approach allowing for some excellent photo ops from the event with the very sharp banks on very short finals to land on 13.

I am hearing between 10-15 General Aviation aircraft.
Unknown DL aircraft (in the past usually an A-319)
US Airways A-319 N712US (Regular current US scheme)
American Eagle/Envoy CRJ-700 in new scheme (like last year)
And for me and I hope some of you the Airline star of Kids Day 2014 drumroll please
N185AN First and only American 757 in the new scheme and is in the International Configuration.
(only been in service in this scheme since Sept 6)

I realize the UN General Assembly is an understandable priority for many of you but I still hope to see some of at LGA.

    Cheers
