The act appears to be nothing large... and yes there is a subtle hint there...

Do they close off the back decks at The Pier at Caesars during the practice show?

A few of us shoot from the pier during the show... they usually let the first 500 people on show day watch if you get in line Trump Plaza side of the pier in the morning.

I finally figured out how to shoot in a backlit situation

Great job!! That sun came out and though it was welcome after the stormy Tuesday, not easy to take pictures in!! So it looked like the Thunderbirds didnt perform their "high" show though the weather was pretty clear by the time they came on. Thoughts?
And what a great time I had in AC without gambling a cent, though food and drink was another story!! Monday night the Charlie Daniels Band put on a great show at 8Pm after the Armed Forces Parade on the Boardwalk!! Man those boys can play!! And after the
Air Show on Wed Felix Cavaliere and The Rascals also put on an amazing show covering all their iconic hit songs and doing great medleys of rock, soul and rhythm and blues songs from the 60s and 70s!! Got to say hello to Felix after the show and also met and chatted with the wonderful Carmen Marotta who is a fixture in south Jersey music and promotes all the Mardi Gras on The Beach shows this summer!!
Even with the rain Tuesday which shortened the TBirds practice (and cancelled the John Cafferty tribute to Eddie & The Cruisers concert Tuesday night) it was once again a great 3 days to kick back and have a good time

    Nice shots, Fred !
I wasn't able to make it down to AC for show but I did see the live webcast and it looked the T-Birds performed a FLAT show.
I was surprised they didn't at least perform a LOW show with rolling maneuvers because the skies didn't look too bad ?

Yes saw on another site they performed the Flat show because that is what they prepared for and when they came out at 3:15 the sky had cleared out. Still was fun and had one nice fast overhead pass from behind where I stood that YES made me jump and another pass from my left that rang my ears with thunder and really, in the end, isnt that what we are looking for?
