After leaving ATL, I stopped by DeKalb Peachtree Airport. It's about 20 minutes away, and is a general and corporate aviation airport. Right next to the ramp, and below the control tower, they have an airport park, with picnic tables, restrooms, a playground for kids, and a raised platform to view operations. It's on the west side of the ramp/runways, so the sun is behind you all afternoon, although you do need to watch for heat haze, especially for aircraft on the farther of the two parallel runways.

Children's Hospital of Atlanta medevac helicopter stopped for fuel.
