    Taronga Zoo, Sydney

    Hey Guys,

So I finally managed to make my required pilgrimage to the world famous Taronga Zoo here in Sydney, and am glad that I did! I had never shot at a zoo before, but I rather enjoyed the experience, and think I came away with a few keepers.

The iconic zoo photo, the Giraffes overlooking the harbour

These guys are rather hard to shoot, opting to stay eyes closed and tucked into the trees 22 hours a day

The Komodo Dragons played along nicely with my attempts to photograph them

That pelican shot is sick! Those komodos look a lot less dangerous than they actually are

By the way thanks for sending the World Cup Quantas 744 our way :)

Those are really cool Nick! The giraffe shots are epic and that koala seems to be enjoying that tree quite a bit.

I certainly wouldn't mind calling some of those my own - excellent shots.

Thanks guys! I was really pleased with how they came out.

Captmjk16, you have no idea how much they enjoy those trees...especially sleeping in them for 20 hours a day. Getting one with its eyes open was a treat!
