Will there be any foreign vessels this year ? Seems rather small for Fleet Week but I guess that's due to budget cuts

Right now it doesn't sound like there will be any foreign vessels this year.

Here's the latest news on where all ships participating will be located to visit:

Public visitation on U.S. Navy ships and USCG cutters begins Thursday, May 22 and
continues through Monday, May 26. Public visitation is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Visitors are
reminded that lines may be capped early so that the last people in line have an opportunity to
    complete their tours.

The Harpers Ferry-class dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) and U.S. Coast
Guard cutter Campbell (WMEC 909) will be moored at Pier 92 in Manhattan.

The Arleigh Burke-class Aegis-equipped guided-missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG
    67), the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Gettysburg (CG 64) and U.S. Coast
Guard Katherine Walker (WLM 552) will be moored at The Sullivans Pier in Staten Island.

There is a lot of history with The USS Cole. The ship was the victim of a suicide attack against on 12 October 2000, while it was harbored and being refueled in the Yemen. 17 American sailors were killed, and 39 were injured.

This is the one I am waiting for!! Two years ago they flew in two Navy Seahawks and a CH-53 Sea Stallion at 10AM, then they left and in came the Marines with an Osprey, Cobra, Sea Knight and a UHIN Twin Huey!! After they shutdown they open the field and you can go and get up close and personal with the men and the machines!! Well worth it to set aside the air show for one day!!

This link lists the aerial support for the Demos during the week.

Looks like no V-22's will be participating

There are no fly overs scheduled. Rumor has it a few helicopters from USN & USMC might make a few passes.

It will be interesting to see what aircraft the Marines use for their Aerial Demo at Sewanhaka HS and Orchard Beach Park on Friday,
because they'll probably use same aircraft for their demo at Eisenhower Park on Saturday also

So far there's been an AH-1 that touched down at Wall Street for a few minutes on Tuesday afternoon, and an SH-60 doing a few turns around the Lady yesterday.

FYI- Heard there was an Osprey flying over Garden City this morning around 11AM,
so there's a chance it might've been used in the Marine Aerial Demo at Sewanhaka HS ??
If not, it could've been the Osprey that came from TEB to do the demo at noon at Jones Beach ?
Anyway, fingers crossed it will be at Eisenhower for the Marine Aerial Demo tomorrow
