They added Randy Ball, an F-86 demonstration, Debbie-Rhinn Harvey, and David Martin. USCG demo looks confirmed now, too. Little more than a month to go!

The F-4's participation now looks iffy.

*The F-4 is waiting for the new engine being rebuilt, delays have occurred and possibly won't be ready for the show. The crews are working hard to make it happen but are at the mercy of the rebuild shop.

In addition to the F-4 being 'iffy' at best, for whatever reason, the organizers traded the F-86, which hasn't flow in Houston in over a decade, for an F8F, which flies in the show every year. Kinda getting discouraging. :-/

EDIT: According to an Colling's rep on Fencecheck, the F-4 is no-go.

Just got home and so many pictures to go through. But, we got something extra special today. For whatever reasons, the Blue Angels were in their rarely seen 'throwback' gold flight suits. I know they wore them first show of the year to mark their return to the skies after no air shows in 2013, but...not sure what the occasion today was.

Here's a few more. I will say, the air show did suffer from 'over promising and under delivering'. Half the normal warbirds flew, and a lot of the classic jets never got off the ground (F-4, Mig-21, the red Mig-17, the F-86). All in all, it wasn't bad...it was kind of disappointing with all the hype they gave it. Also, pardon the fact that I am waaaay out of practice with shooting fast moving planes.

I went to the show on Sunday. I arrived just for the Blue Angels to perform. Here are some of my shots.
