    United Charter B744 KEWR pics

Greetings, Stopped off at EWR on my way home from central NJ and saw the UAL Charters B744 holding short of 22L. It arrived around noon with the USA Olympic team I had already shot it last winter at KORD so this was a chance to get better shots. Since I was there and it was going out I figured I would just wait for it depart (4 mins) and of course the clouds rolled in. Got much better shots that my Chicago pix but still not what they needed to be. Now that I think about it maybe I should have tried to get some pix of LOLO JONES :) siiigh

Yes, Looks like it hasn't been washed since the first time I shot it 12/13/13
It was looking a little dirty then too.

the 400 is one sweet ride !!! the Classic is a great jet,but the 400 is even better,I can only imagine the -8 moves the ball down the pitch even further.
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

Nice work!! I wish I'd looked at my flighttracker or I would've seen this enroute to ORD yesterday evening, instead I left earlier to beat traffic home. Oh well, I'm happy I've seen and filmed it before.

    Thanks,
Despite so bland and boring this plane was on on "Must have" list. Its not often these days we get a Major Airline with a off shoot like that now. Like UAL Worldwide (Cargo) or any airline with a offshoot. Years from now it will be a"What the heck was that about" kind of thing.

Oh man, nice. I got a shot at it in SFO last year but they then decided to take off from the wrong RWY in the wrong direction. Not even a far away shot would do... I believe it was on its way to IAH...
