    REQUEST : JFK 2-10-14

Hi, I looked at the other post with the log for that day but was wondering if someone could help me out.

Arrived from LHR to see a Blue & white 727 parked up and also an Evergreen 747 as I went round on the airtrain. Any help to tie up these would be much appreciated.

    Many Thanks

    Will

The white a blue 727 was most likely M-STAR.
The Evergreen 747, I can't assist you with, but I'm sure some of the others on the site can help you out!
Probably the youngest spotter ever to walk up the face of the mounds.

Does that Evergreen 747 move at all? Sitting there waiting for a new owner?

The 747 only had 3 engines and had been waiting for a ferry permit from the FAA since at least the summer. Depending on the ownership of the engines, it may even have fewer than that by now. Whoever buys it out of the bankruptcy proceeding will have to provide some engines to make it airworthy. Given that choice and the very limited pool of operators looking to pick up a previously idled 747-200, I would be very surprised if it didn't leave New York in the back of a number of trucks.
