    JFK 2/11/14

I'm up at JFK today, and they are landing on the 4s with ATIS saying 31L and Right are closed. Anyone know any good spots for afternoon arrivals on 4R? Cathay spirit of Hong Kong is arriving around 12:20 for anyone who needs it!

They ended up switching back to the 31's right after Cathay, and light was fantastic, although I seriously thought I was going to die standing out at bayswater. The cold and snow made for great pictures though!

Great set, I really like the head-on A380 shot and nice lighting on the 31 arrivals.

Great pictures...@ Bayswater is really very cold @ this time, nowhere to hide from cold and wind...how long you were there? Looking at head-on A380 pic, it makes me want to go there for photos in this weather...
I've tried this before snow - in November:

Yours is a waayyyy better shot and it's way better when light reflecting from snow underneath aircraft....

    All photos are great...

If I knew about Cathay Pacific coming in, I would've joined you in that cold weather...Also...., Qatar One World(I don't have BAA reg, just BAB), JAL Sky Suite...I wouldn't mind to get frozen for these airplanes...

You picked the right date to be at JFK John would I get the same luck this weekend? We know the snow ain't going anywhere how about interesting traffic? It remains to be seen.
