    NYPD Orders Bell 429s

To replace the Koalas. The 412s are staying.

    Thanks for info.

    Do they have 4 Agusta A-119 - N315PD, N316PD, 318, 319?

They are being phased out as the 429s come into service!! They arent that old (9 years or so) so their resale value should be pretty good!! Now another new copter I have ti hunt down, lol!!
PS aside to Gintaras, saw Transatlantic last night. Almost 3 hours long! Amazing!! OK off-topic over!!

I've checked my earlier photos, when I wasn't a plane spotter yet, I have missing N315PD. New copters will be easier to catch, but I do need N315PD too. I do have other 3.

ps: I wouldn't be surprised that they played one song - 3hrs long in the whole concert -they're Masters of Prog....

    Post of the week!! haha

    I'm a little disappointed...I kinda liked the 119s.

Will they be recycling the registrations onto the newer choppers? I will be sad to see N318PD leave :(

Weirdly, I don't have 315 either, but I've seen the others a bunch of times.

It's also funny that they're going from an Italian helicopter built in Philadelphia to an American helicopter built in Montreal.
